SERVING STUDENTS OF:
We understand that it is just as difficult to find the right tenant as it is for a tenant to find the right home. Often, tenants destroy your property, conduct illegal activity on the premises or can fail to pay rent. This is the unfortunate reality for many property owners, and can lead to the diminishing value of your property, and incurred costs for legal proceedings.
We can help you with many aspects of tenant disputes, or the lawful eviction of your tenant should the matter not be resolved. We will work diligently so that you can receive all rent that is owed to you, and ensure your tenant will be removed from the property, should that be the case.
If your tenant has filed an issue with you that will be brought in front of the Landlord Tenant Board, allow us to represent you, or help you prepare for your hearing. Allow us to properly assess your situation.
If you require an action letter for rent in arrears from a legal representative, be assured that we can provide this to you, or the individual residing in your property in a professional and timely manner.
When renting or leasing a property, most people don’t know that the laws in Ontario can help in protecting lessees from unfair or unreasonably treatment from their landlord. This body of law is governed by the Residential Tenancies Act (2006).
Most people simply do not know their rights, and landlords can take advantage of this. There may be a disagreement between landlords and tenants as to who will pay for extensive damages to a home or rental unit. Unfortunately, as is the reality with many legal proceedings, there is an abundance of paperwork to fill out when arguing such a matter with the Landlord and Tenant Board, which oversees such disputes.
You may not have to go through the entire process of the Landlord Tenant Board – sometimes an action letter describing your issue and the threat of legal action from a third party is enough to resolve the matter. Contact us for very reasonable rates for the issuance of these types of letters.
